Finance Minister Bill English has announced he will deliver his second Budget on 20 May.
Mr English says though the New Zealand economy is recovering, it still faces tough times ahead.
The Budget will focus on taking action to get the economy growing faster over the next five years and beyond, he says. Tax changes are likely to be included.
Mr English says the Government wants a tax system which strengthens the economy, reduces tax avoidance and rewards effort.
