New Zealand has concluded negotiations on a free trade deal with Hong Kong.
Prime Minister John Key announced the deal at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting in Singapore on Friday.
Mr Key says the deal is broad-based but will benefit New Zealand services firms trying to sell into Hong Kong.
Firms selling high-tech and education goods and services will benefit in particular.
Hong Kong was New Zealand's 20th largest trading partner last year.
The Prime Minister says he is hopeful the deal will add to the $900 million of trade between the two countries.
Mr Key says a momentum has built up for New Zealand in free trade in Asia over the past two years.
This includes deals with China, Malaysia and the 10 nations of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations area.
Mr Key says New Zealand's trade priority in Asia is now the completion of deals with India, Japan, Korea and the United States.
