Finance Minister Bill English will outline the Government's plan for economic recovery to international lenders during a visit to Japan and the United States next week.
Mr English will travel to Tokyo, New York and Boston accompanied by officials from the New Zealand Debt Management Office.
He says the Government has a large borrowing programme ahead in coming years. The aim of the trip is to assure international lenders that New Zealand has a realistic plan to control debt and lift economic growth.
Mr English leaves early next week.
