The Internet Party will gather in Auckland to consider its candidate list for this year's election on Saturday afternoon.
Party spokesperson John Mitchell said around 300 free tickets to the event were offered on line and all have been snapped up.
He said today's event follows a pre-selection process which has whittled down the selection list from about 150 would-be candidates to the 22 people who will pitch their case for selection today.
Each candidate will speak, and the event will be streamed online, with members able to ask questions and assess candidates via an app and live feedback.
The Party says members' evaluations will play a significant role in deciding the choice of candidates, alongside the party's National Selection Committee.
Electorate and list candidates will be finalised next week.
The Mana Party will also launch its new Pasifika wing on Saturday afternoon.
