Finance Minister Bill English on Wednesday inspected the 2012 budget documents at Printlink, in Petone.

He said the theme of this year's Budget is confidence in uncertain times and the Government is using technology to cut costs in the printing of the document, and other measures.

Mr English says some things have not gone New Zealand's way and the Budget shows the Government's confidence in getting its own books in order.

The Budget will be announced at 2pm on Thursday.
