The Warriors Rugby League team are on the West Coast to help the families of the 29 Pike River Coal miners killed in explosions in November.
They beat the Newcastle Knights 22-10 in the Miners' Solidarity Day charity match on Saturday.
All proceeds of the game will be shared between the miners' families and the West Coast Rugby League Association.
The Warriors' media manager, Richard Becht says the West Coast's strong affiliation with rugby league meant the team knew they wanted to do something to help.
