High demand from American Samoa for Hawai'i travel not met

Travel agents in American Samoa says Hawaiian Air's additional summer flights aren't enough to meet the demand for travel from Pago Pago to Honolulu.

The airline has added four extra flights for the summer from June 18th to July the 5th in addition to its regular twice weekly flights.

Our correspondent says travel agents in the territory say there are many groups, families and individuals heading off island and many are having to go via Apia in Samoa to reach Honolulu because there aren't enough flights from Pago Pago.
