Samoa A have been beaten 17-14 in their opening Pacific Rugby Cup clash against New South Wales A in Sydney last night.
Both teams scored one try a piece but goal-kicking proved the difference as NSW made it two wins from two, following a first up victory against ACT.
Samoa A have a short turnaround before their next match against Tonga A in Sydney on Tuesday.
