In Fiji, the Kadavu Provincial Council says it supports the government's Constitution.

Fiji Village online says after Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama highlighted some key areas about I-Taukei land on Tuesday, various chiefs were happy that their views had been taken into consideration by the current government.

The Provincial Administrator Viliame Naiyabia says the chiefs have given the green light to the constitution.

He added that the chiefs in the Kadavu province will support a government that serves the people of this country well and accepted the Prime Minister's message on Tuesday that I-Taukei people cannot be leading all the time.
