The Fire Service says it has extinguished a fire that burned for three days at a Hastings packaging company.
The fire began on Tuesday night at the Hawk Packaging factory which made egg cartons and moulded apple trays.

The Fire Service says it was the second fire at the factory since October last year.
Hawke's Bay Area Commander Chris Nicoll says firefighters have left the scene on Friday and the cause of the blaze is being investigated.
About 90 firefighters helped to put out the flames.
