Two people were taken to hospital with stab wounds after a fight outside a tavern in Wainuiomata in Lower Hutt.
Police say three men were involved in a fight outside the Fitzroy Tavern at about 10.30pm, which left two of them with knife wounds.
The ambulance service says two people were taken to Hutt Hospital in a moderate condition.
