A man has been killed after his motorcycle crashed on Paekakariki Hill Road, about 40km north of Wellington, on Tuesday.
Police say the body of the 58-year-old was found by road workers about 3.30pm. It is not clear how long the body had been there.
The road was closed for a time. The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
