Police say there is nothing at this stage to suggest that a third person is involved in the deaths of a man and a woman whose bodies were found at western Bay of Plenty property.
Officers were called on Sunday afternoon to the property in Pukehina, on State Highway 2 east of Te Puke, where they found the bodies.
Police are continuing a scene examination.
The bodies are likely to be removed from the property on Monday and taken to Auckland for post-mortems.
