More teams are arriving ahead of the Rugby World Cup, with England, Japan and France landing in Auckland on Wednesday.
A small but enthusiastic crowd greeted the England players when arrived early in the morning. England will have their first game against Argentina in Dunedin on 10 September.
Japan arrived with New Zealand coach John Kirwan later in the morning. Their first game is against the All Blacks in Hamilton on 16 September.
Meanwhile, hundreds gathered at the airport for the arrival of the French rugby team on Wednesday afternoon.
Blue, white and red T-shirts, flags and paint dominated the crowd, along with loud renditions of the French national anthem.
A number of people have travelled to New Zealand to support the team but are predicting a repeat of 1987 when the side returned home without the Webb Ellis Cup.
Some believe the French will again reach the final with the All Blacks, but say the New Zealand team has much better players, so they aren't hoping for too much.
France's first game is against Japan in Auckland on 10 September.
Ireland's team arrives on Thursday afternoon, as do those of Romania, Samoa, Argentina and Namibia.
Each of the teams will be greeted officially at the airport and will later have either a marae or civic ceremony.
The Rugby World Cup begins on 9 September with the final being played at Eden Park on 23 October.
