Police have arrested a man in relation to an incident at a Christchurch motel, where two women say they were lured, robbed of their cash at gunpoint, and tied-up on Thursday.
Detective Sergeant Mark Reid says one of the men was arrested on Friday night.
He will face charges of aggravated robbery and kidnapping in Rangiora District Court.
Police are still looking for another man and a weapon.
