A man sought in relation to two jewellery robberies in Auckland has been arrested.
A Sydney-based jeweller was robbed of more than $100,000 worth of gems in Parnell last month.
Some $600,000 worth of jewellery was also stolen outside Rydges Hotel.
Earlier this week, five foreigners were arrested.
Detective Inspector Scott Beard now says a man has been located in Wellington. Jose Jimenez-Perez appeared in court on Saturday and was remanded in custody until 7 June.
Another man is still sought.
