Police have launched a homicide investigation after a man's body was found in the Wellington suburb of Johnsonville.
Officers are examining the Broderick Road house where the body of the man, who was in his thirties, was found just after 6pm on Tuesday.
Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Thornton says police are keeping an open mind about how the man died.
He is urging anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious on Tuesday afternoon to contact police.
