A search is under way in bush near Woodville, in the Tararua district, for a 64-year-old man.
A vehicle belonging John Campbell was found on Woodlands Road, near Woodville, just after 7am on Tuesday.
[image:1148:third:right]Police used tracking dogs to search the area near the car on Wednesday, expanding the search team to 15.
Palmerston North police say Mr Campbell was last seen heading to work in Pahiatua and had no reason to be in nearby Woodville.
Mr Campbell is believed to be in good physical health and has no known medical conditions.
He is described as approximately 175cm, of skinny build, with grey hair and was wearing grey drill shorts and work boots.
