A man is in hospital with back injuries after his paraglider crashed in Christchurch.
The man, aged in his 30s, fell less than 10 metres before crashing in the Port Hills near Summit Road on Friday.
He was winched to safety by rescue helicopter and is in a stable condition at Christchurch Hospital.
