More than 14,000 runners and walkers have crossed the finish line in the Auckland marathon.
The event, which began at 6.10am on Sunday, started in Devonport and went over the harbour bridge and around the waterfront to St Heliers Bay, before finishing in Victoria Park.
Entrants from 37 countries took part.
Dale Warrender from Waikato won in a time of two hours and 19 minutes.
Shireen Crumpton of Dunedin was the fastest woman, completing the 42km course in two hours and 45 minutes.
