Wellington's beaten Southland 27-14 at Invercargill to reach the semi-finals in rugby's provincial championship.
Southland led 14-10 at half-time but Welllington scored two second-half tries to join Canterbury and Waikato in the semis.
The other semi-finalist will be decided on Sunday afternoon when Auckland play Tasman at Eden Park.
