Only one new cap in All Black squad

The Canterbury player Sonny Bill Williams is the only new All Black named in coach Graham Henry's squad for the end of year tour which features a host of recalled former test players.

Henry says Williams earned his place in the All Blacks.

Henry offered his condolences to injured halfback Piri Weepu who he said suffered a fractured dislocation of the ankle and will be out of the game for six months.

Loose forwards Daniel Braid and Liam Messam, hookers Hikawera Elliot and Andrew Hore, halfbacks Alby Mathewson and Andy Ellis, wingers Sitivini Sivivatu and Hosea Gear, first five Stephen Donald and centre Isaia Toeava all return to the squad after absences.

The All Blacks will play the Wallabies in Hong Kong and then go on to the United Kingdom and Ireland.
