The email reveals she offered to resign for a news release she sent supporting Paul Henry's comments about the Governor General.

The Dominion Post leads with the story that hundreds of public service managers have been asked to swear under oath that they have not leaked official documents. The investigation was started after information about the Government's mining plans and the merging of some of its departments were made public.
Under a picture of a tearful Macsyna King, the paper reports the mother of the Kahui twins was haunted by a ghost on the days following their deaths.
