Four teenagers accused of pelting police with items from a stolen car during a pursuit through North Canterbury have been arrested.
The car was stolen from a house in Blenheim on Tuesday night.
Occupants of the car threw items at their pursuers, including a car jack, headrests, beer bottles and a glove box, during the pursuit south along State Highway One.
Four young men, aged between 15 and 18 years, were arrested after crashing near the Hurunui River bridge.
