A motorcycle rider has been arrested and charged with manslaughter, following a fatal crash near Gisborne in mid-May.
A pillion pasenger died when the bike he was on collided with a car at the Bushmere Road corner with State Highway Two at Makaraka, south of the city.
The accused man was released on bail to appear in court again next week.
