Companies lower petrol price

Major fuel retailers in New Zealand lowered the price of petrol by 2 cents on Tuesday.

Shell, BP, Caltex and Mobil have reduced the cost of unleaded 91 to $1.73.9 cents per litre.

Gull also dropped its price by 2 cents, selling 91 octane for $1.72.9 cents a litre.

The price of diesel remains unchanged.
