A man was arrested in Dunedin on Monday following an Armed Offenders Squad (AOS) callout.
Senior Sergeant Craig Brown says police were called about a dispute between a man and a woman who share a house in Dundas St.
They were told the man might be armed, but no weapons were found.
Dunedin police also used the AOS to carry out two other search warrants in the city on Monday, which led to the arrests of two people.
