The body of a missing hunter has been recovered in Mid-Canterbury's Clyde River Valley.
The 50-year-old Levin man was reported missing from the McCoy Hut on Saturday morning.
He had last been seen by his companions on Friday morning after going hunting alone.
Three helicopters and up to 40 Search and Rescue and police personnel took part in the search.
