Several homes and commercial buildings in Rotorua have been flooded due to heavy rain.
The Fire Service says it has attended more than half a dozen callouts to properties affected by flood waters on Thursday night.
It says the worst flooding is at a medical centre in Amohia Street, in the central city.
More rain is forecast overnight on Thursday.
