Two more arrests have been made in relation to at least 10 aggravated robberies in the Auckland area.

They include the robberies of cash-carrying vehicles, banks, a jewellery store, and home invasions using weapons ranging from screwdrivers to pistols and sawn-off shotguns.

The aggravated robberies happened between January and April this year.

The Armed Offenders Squad executed search warrants at homes in Manurewa, Otahuhu and Mangere on Thursday and two men were taken into custody.

The South Auckland men, aged 30 and 31, will appear in the Manukau District Court on Friday. They will each face charges of committing two aggravated robberies.

A 21-year-old man was arrested earlier in relation to some of the crimes.

Police are still looking for another man, Vegas Kara, 26, whom they believe was involved.
