The Transport Agency will soon issue five options for revamping State Highway One around the Basin Reserve in Wellington.
Information obtained by Radio New Zealand indicates there will be three flyover options and two ground level options.
The flyover options would be similar to a two-storey building in height and could range in cost from $76 million to $97 million. The ground level solutions are priced at $38 million to $52 million.
The changes would be part of an overhaul of State Highway 1 and a preferred option is likely to be decided by the middle of this year.
The options will be made public on 22 February for consultation.
