A woman has serious head injuries after being hit by a bus on Adelaide Road in south Wellington.
There has been a series of cases of pedestrians being hit by buses in the capital, including a fatal accident in November.
John Calder of Go Wellington says they are working with the police to find out exactly what happened. He says the company has introduced several measures to improve bus safety in the capital.
The driver of the bus in the latest crash has been stood down and is being offered counselling.
