A large blaze in a warehouse in the Auckland suburb of Avondale on Thursday evening is believed to be suspicious, the fire service says.
The Fire Service was called to the fire at Wingate St just after 7pm and had it under control by 9pm.
Motorists were redirected and the police cordoned off a large part of a nearby road.
Crews remained on standby overnight to deal with any hotspots.
The police are investigating the blaze.
