More than 500 motorcyclists rallied in Nelson on Saturday to protest against planned changes to ACC levies.
Under the changes, owners of motorbikes of more than 600cc could see their fee rise from $252 to $735, while moped owners face a rise from the current $58 to $246.
Radio New Zealand's reporter in Nelson says the bikers at the rally - representing owners of all classes of motorcycles - say the increase in levies is unfair.
The motorcyclists rode through the centre of Nelson and planned to stop outside the electorate office of ACC Minister Nick Smith.
The Nelson rally is part of a series organised around the country to oppose the levy changes.
