Police are treating the death of a man in the Waikato town of Huntly as suspicious.
His body was found in his home at about 8.30am on Sunday.
Detectives are carrying out a scene examination and people are being spoken to by police.
A post-mortem will be carried out on Monday morning.
The man's details are being withheld until family members have been informed.
