Police say three adults and an infant have died in a Bay of Plenty crash involving two vehicles.

The road remains closed while Serious Crash Unit conduct their scene examination.
Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle crash at 3pm.
Diversions are in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
Police said that further updates will be provided when available.
