The death of a man found at an intersection in Kawerau is being investigated by police.

The man was found at the intersection of Newall and Whittaker Streets about 7.10am and was injured.
He died at the scene.
The man is yet to be formally identified.
Police are looking to speak with anyone who saw what happened, or may have information that could be of use and are asking people to call 105, quoting job number P044952398.
