Police said they searched a property on Geoffrey Roberts Rd which was evacuated just before 9am. Staff from the building are now able to return.

They said no objects of concerns were found and could conclude that the threat was a hoax.

The searches and extensive

enquiries were carried out by police specialist groups, military and aviation security personnel.

Furthermore, a section of Laurence Stevens Dr and Geoffrey Roberts Rd that was cordoned off has reopened.

The incident caused flights to be suspended until 9.15am. The airport said police had now given the all-clear for the runway to reopen and flights had resumed.

An investigation would continue and police said they hadn't ruled out laying charges.
