Police say two bank robberies committed in Hamilton on Wednesday are unrelated.
The Frankton branch of Kiwibank was robbed by a man who presented a double-barreled shotgun at two tellers just before 3pm, police say.
The man demanded cash and left with money in plastic bags.
Police say at 10am, a man dressed in a bright orange jacket robbed a Westpac in Hamilton East, making off with an unknown amount of money.
