A woman has been seriously injured after being hit by a truck in Waikato.
The police say the incident happened at about 6.50am on Saturday on Ngarua Road in Waitoa.
The woman has been taken to hospital.
Meanwhile, also in Waikato, motorists are advised to take care on State Highway 29 between Rapurapu and Hanga Roads.
Police say a truck lost a load of fat there on Friday and the road is still slippery.
