One was killed when the car they were in crashed into a powerpole on State Highway 16 just south of Paeroa shortly after 2am on Wednesday.
Two others were seriously injured.
One person died and another was seriously injured in a crash near Te Kauwhata late on Tuesday night.
Police say the dead men were not wearing seatbelts.
