A 12-year-old girl who went missing after hitchhiking in Wairarapa has been found.
Teegan Leigh disappeared from her home in Featherston about 6am on Wednesday, before hitching a ride in a white campervan to the Lower Hutt suburb of Avalon.
Police say she was found safe on Wednesday evening after turning up at a family member's home in the suburb of Wainuiomata.
