The scene where a light plane crashed off the runway at North Shore Airfield in Auckland on Sunday has been cleared.
The pilot, who was also the sole occupant, was uninjured.
The two seater Russian jet appears to have had brake failure and crashed through a fence onto Postmans Road in Dairy Flat.
Civil Aviation is investigating.
