Police are to meet the family of a a slain Scottish woman when they arrive in New Zealand on Friday.
Karen Aim, 26, was found 50 metres from her flat with severe head injuries after walking home at night in Taupo, a year ago.
Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Turner is meeting her mother, father and brother at Auckland International Airport on Friday.
Their visit will allow them to attend the start of the trial of a boy, aged 15, who is accused of murdering her.
The Reverend John Howell says the family is also expected to visit his church in Taupo, where a memorial service was held for Miss Aim on the day of her funeral.
The mayor of Taupo has invited the family to unveil a memorial to her.
It was Miss Aim's second visit to New Zealand. She was on a working holiday.
