Police in Wellington are appealing for information after a 71-year-old man was found dead in Petone last night.
Emergency services were called to a Jackson Street address about 9.50pm.
Police are looking to speak with anyone who may have information that could assist the homicide investigation.
As a result of their inquiries, the police have arrested a 41-year-old man for unrelated matters.
