A highway north-west of Auckland has reopened after a house fell off a transporter blocking the road this morning.

The incident happened on State Highway 16 at Kumeu near Old North Road roundabout shortly before 6am.
No-one was injured.

The road was blocked in both directions and motorists were asked to avoid the area.
It has since been re-opened.
