A 19-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter in relation to a fatal crash in Christchurch last week.
An 18-year-old woman died in the crash, which happened on 16 November.
The man has been charged with manslaughter, failing to stop or ascertain injury, failing to stop for police, and three counts of recklessly causing injury.
He will appear in Christchurch District Court this morning.
Police also reminded motorists to use seat belts and drive safely after two fatal crashes occurred last week.
