Two people have been taken to hospital after an explosion at Pinehurst School on Auckland's North Shore.
Emergency services were called to Pinehurst School shortly after 3pm.
Fire and Emergency shift manager Colin Underdown said reports from the scene were the explosion in a classroom involved perspex.
However, he said the fire was out on arrival and crews have now left the scene.
A St John ambulance spokesperson said two people were taken to North Shore Hospital, one with moderate injuries, the other minor injuries.
