Three men have been arrested after an investigation into drugging and sexual assault at a central Christchurch bar and restaurant.
The men, aged, 33, 34, and 36, were due to appear in Christchurch District Court facing charges of supplying a class B controlled drug, rape, unlawful sexual connection and stupefying.
Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Anderson said people needed to stay on guard and take care of each other when on a night out.
He said if anyone felt drowsy, they should be taken to a safe place and not left alone.
