Police appeal for information about missing elderly woman

A woman whose car was found crashed near Motueka in the upper South Island is missing.

Judith Nash, 75, who is from nearby Stanley Brook, was last seen at 5.30am walking along the Motueka Highway.

She was wearing jeans, a multi-coloured shirt and a beige jacket.

She was walking towards Motueka with her dog which is a medium sized red dog called Scooter.

Police said her crashed car was spotted early this morning, and Judith Nash was reported as missing at 5pm today.

Her vehicle was found crashed on the Motueka Valley Highway.

Police said they are concerned for her well-being given the amount of time she's been missing.
